Physical Therapy Education with Dr. Koh
Dr. Koh has taught clinicians for most of his career, from orthopedics labs at USC to continuing education courses delivered nationwide.
Teaching experience
Hands-on instruction
While at USC, Dr. Koh served on faculty as a Teaching Assistant in Orthopedics. He went on to teach continuing education to physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, athletic trainers and other clinicians, and he now leads education at AQuire.
His courses are built around supervised practice. Lecture covers the research and the reasoning; lab time is where clinicians practice techniques on one another with an instructor correcting hand placement, pressure and direction.
He is a member of the APTA Specialization Academy of Content Experts (SACE) and has served on the program advisory boards of physical therapist assistant programs.

Courses Dr. Koh authored and teaches
Three course families carry his own curriculum: Joint Thrust Techniques, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and Fascia Matrix. They reflect the manual therapy methods he uses in his own practice. He also teaches kinesiology taping and sports medicine topics.

Dr. Koh has lectured for physical therapy and sports medicine programs at USC, UC Irvine and Columbia University, and has presented at conferences of the California Physical Therapy Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
